Volleyball Game Preview: Saegertown Panthers vs. Tidioute Charter

Saegertown is preparing for their first conference matchup of the season on Tuesday. They will venture away from home to take on Tidioute Charter at 7:15 p.m. Saegertown will be strutting in after a victory while Tidioute Charter will be coming in after a defeat.

On Thursday, Saegertown was able to grind out a solid win over Lakeview, taking the game 3-1. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Sailors: they've now won three in a row.

Saegertown was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-11, 20-25, 25-22, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Tidioute Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to Eisenhower.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-9, 25-8.

Tidioute Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Saegertown, their win bumped their record up to 5-3-1.

Saegertown took their victory against Tidioute Charter when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
