Basketball Game Preview: Vicksburg Bulldogs vs. Three Rivers Wildcats

The Vicksburg Bulldogs will head out to square off against the Three Rivers Wildcats at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Last Tuesday, Vicksburg came up short against Niles and fell 63-55. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Meanwhile, Three Rivers also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Plainwell by a score of 41-31. The contest marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Three Rivers and nudges their season record down to 2-3. As for Vicksburg, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-2.

Vicksburg took their victory against Three Rivers when the teams last played back in February by a conclusive 53-31. The rematch might be a little tougher for Vicksburg since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
