Basketball Recap: St. Francis Takes a Loss

St. Francis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 44-39 heartbreaker at the hands of the Kenosha Christian Life Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 52-43 back in November of 2024.

St. Francis' loss dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Kenosha Christian Life, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-14.

Coming up, St. Francis will host Messmer at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Kenosha Christian Life, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 57-13 defeat against Living Word Lutheran on the 14th.
