Volleyball Recap: Medway's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bellingham, Medway was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Sutton Sammies/Suzies. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Mustangs as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.

Medway had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-19, 25-9, 25-14.

Medway's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Sutton, they dropped their record down to 3-7 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Medway will head out to take on Hopedale at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Sutton, they will welcome Advanced Math & Science Academy at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
