Iowa City came tearing into Friday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Linn-Mar Lions 55-30. The Little Hawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 20 points or more this season.

Iowa City's victory bumped their record up to 18-6. As for Linn-Mar, they dropped their record down to 3-14 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Iowa City West the next time they take the court. Iowa City will host Iowa City West at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Linn-Mar will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
