Baseball Recap: Eustace Comes Up Short

If Eustace was riding high fresh off their 13-2 takedown of Rice last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eustace Bulldogs came up short against the Mildred Eagles on Saturday, falling 8-1. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Eustace's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Eustace didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-2 victory against Ferris on the 22nd. As for Mildred, they will be taking part in a tournament against Elkhart at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday.
