Poly has gone a perfect 5-0 against Sylmar recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Poly Parrots will look to defend their home field against the Sylmar Spartans at 3:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Poly's last matchup with Chatsworth could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Wednesday. Poly came up short against Chatsworth, falling 9-1. The Parrots haven't had much luck with the Chancellors recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Poly saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was JACKIE GALLARDO, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Sylmar was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 11-1 to San Fernando.

Sylmar's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Poly, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Poly came out on top in a nail-biter against Sylmar when the teams last played back in March of 2023, sneaking past 6-5. Does Poly have another victory up their sleeve, or will Sylmar turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
