Volleyball Recap: Jacksonville Wins Going Away Against Northern Durham

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Jacksonville walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Northern Durham Knights on Saturday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cardinals.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-17, 25-13.

Izabella Hernandez was the offensive standout of the match as she had 19 digs and one assist. She has been hot for a while, having posted 13 or more digs the last 11 times she's played.

Jacksonville's record is now 8-13. As for Northern Durham, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-12 record this season.

Jacksonville will head out on the road to challenge J.H. Rose at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Northern Durham does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
