Soccer Recap: South Atlanta Takes a Loss

South Atlanta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Miller Grove Wolverines. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Hornets couldn't quite close it out.

South Atlanta's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Miller Grove, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

South Atlanta will square off against Redan at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Miller Grove, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Columbia at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
