Scranton lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Delaware Valley, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Monday's contest. The Knights were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the Warriors on Monday. That eight-run margin sets a new team best for the Knights this season.
Drew Leonori made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (three). He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and two RBI.
In other batting news, Cayden Booth was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2025. Thomas Brogan also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
