Dixie put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the High Point Academy Grizzlies by a score of 10-5. The ten-run effort marked the Hornets' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Dixie's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-0. As for High Point Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. We've got a battle between Hornets coming up. Ware Shoals has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.57 runs per game on average), something Dixie will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for High Point Academy, they will square off against Brashier Middle College Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
