Softball Recap: Columbia Takes a Loss

Columbia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 32nd straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 26-2 to the Caldwell Cougars. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their loss to the Cougars from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Columbia's record is now 0-12. As for Caldwell, their win bumped their record up to 7-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Columbia will take on Vallivue at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Falcons have averaged an impressive 11.1 runs per game this season. As for Caldwell, they will challenge Boise at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
