Normandy dropped down to 7-8 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They came up short against the University School Preppers, falling 10-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Invaders have suffered since April 20th.

As for University School, they pushed their record up to 16-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 contests by six runs or more this season.

For University School's part, Deacon Nelson was excellent, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.

Coming up, Normandy is taking a road trip to take on Bay at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for University School, they will welcome Bloom-Carroll at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
