Union City has gone 9-1 against Seneca recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Bears will face off against the Bobcats at 7:15 p.m. Union City will be strutting in after a win while Seneca will be coming in after a defeat.

While Union City's victory against Iroquois wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bears sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Braves on Tuesday. The Bears haven't had any issues with the Braves recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Seneca came up short against Cathedral Prep on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-22, 25-11, 25-22.

Union City's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Seneca, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10-3.

Everything went Union City's way against Seneca in their previous meeting back in September, as Union City made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bears since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
