Softball Recap: Steele Makes It Six in a Row on the Road

Steele was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Victoria East on Thursday. The Steele Knights never let the Victoria East Titans get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by six runs or more this season.

Steele pushed their record up to 6-5 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.2 runs over those games. As for Victoria East, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season.

Steele didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-4 win against St. Joseph on the 28th. As for Victoria East, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 6-2 victory against George Ranch on the 27th.
