Madison Central rises to No. 3 behind the play of All-American Braden Montgomery.
Jesuit (Tampa, Fla.) began the season ranked No. 1 in the nation, but after a loss to Venice in early March, the Tigers dropped half a dozen spots in the MaxPreps Top 25 high school baseball rankings. After 10 straight wins, and losses by Barbe (Lake Charles, La.), Hamilton (Chandler, Ariz.), IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.) and Calvary Christian Academy (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.), Jesuit has moved back to No. 2 in the rankings behind top-ranked Buford (Ga.).
Hot on the heels of the Tigers is Madison Central. Led by All-American candidate Braden Montgomery, the Mississippi squad is undefeated at 15-0 and comes in at No. 3. Buford, however, has shown no signs of slowing down as All-American Dylan Lesko continues to shine and the rest of the pitching staff has sparkled as well in posting eight shutouts.

Game of the Week: IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.) 2, Baylor (Chattanooga, Tenn.) 1. Baylor tied the game in the top of the seventh on a Jonathan Larrea RBI single, but IMG won the game in the bottom of the inning on a Nate Selmont walk-off home run.
Player of the Week: Jake Dresselhouse, St. Mary's Prep (Orchard Lake, Mich.). In a doubleheader against Detroit Jesuit, Dresselhouse had two grand slams and drove in 12 runs.
Recruit Watch: Izaak Pacheco, Friendswood. One of the nation's top infielders, Pacheco had two triples and two home runs in last week's games for undefeated Friendswood.
Game to Watch: St. Thomas Aquinas vs. Archbishop McCarthy. Two of the top teams in Broward County meet this week. The Raiders are ranked No. 3 in the county by High School Baseball Network while Archbishop McCarthy is No. 8.
