Softball Game Preview: Moulton Bobkatz vs. SA S Saints

The Moulton Bobkatz will face off against the SA S Saints at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Moulton will be strutting in after a victory while SA S will be coming in after a loss.

On Tuesday, Moulton made easy work of Victoria Gators HomeSchool and carried off a 19-8 win. The result was nothing new for the Bobkatz, who have now won eight matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, SA S lost 12-5 to Sacred Heart two weeks ago. The loss was the Saints' first of the season.

A Garcia stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI. M Zinsmeyer was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Moulton is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-12 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.8 runs over those games. Having lost for the first time this season, SA S fell to 4-1.
