Football Recap: Guerin Catholic Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Guerin Catholic's offense. They were dealt a 34-0 loss at the hands of the Pendleton Heights Arabians on Friday.

Quentin Klee threw for 51 yards on eight of 21 attempts. Jack Linden was his top target, picking up 28 receiving yards.

Leading Pendleton Heights to victory were Joel Weaver and Brandt Gray. Weaver rushed for 127 yards and one touchdown, while Gray rushed for 39 yards and one TD. The dominant performance also gave Gray a new career-high in passer rating (155.8).

Guerin Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Pendleton Heights, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Guerin Catholic will square off against Heritage Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pendleton Heights, they will face off against New Castle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The game will give the Arabians their first taste of in-conference action this season.
