Basketball Recap: Eastern Mennonite Takes a Loss

Eastern Mennonite was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 88-35 loss at the hands of the Handley Judges. The Flames were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 59-14.

Eastern Mennonite's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Handley, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eastern Mennonite will square off against Virginia Episcopal School at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Handley, they will face off against James Wood at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
