Recap: Seton Catholic Sentinels vs. Arcadia Titans

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Mary's, the Seton Catholic Sentinels were happy to have found some success on Wednesday. They strolled past Arcadia with points to spare, taking the game 67-48. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Seton Catholic also won the last time the pair played two weeks ago.

Seton Catholic had a senior duo take command as Luke Padilla dropped a double-double on 20 points and 14 rebounds and Julian Garcia scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. It was the first time this season that Padilla pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Miguel Grijalva, who scored ten points.

Arcadia lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Owen Lozevski, who scored 12 points. Oliver Fay was another key contributor, scoring seven points.

Seton Catholic's win bumped their record up to 19-9. As for Arcadia, they now have a losing record at 12-13.

Seton Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Arcadia, they will head out on the road to take on St. Mary's at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Mary's knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 13 games -- so hopefully Arcadia likes a good challenge.
