Volleyball Recap: Riverhead Comes Up Short

Riverhead lost against Bay Shore back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Blue Waves fell just short of the Marauders by a score of 3-2. The Blue Waves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Riverhead started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 17-25, 22-25, 25-19, 25-15, 15-12.

Riverhead's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Bay Shore, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-1.

Riverhead does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bay Shore, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Walt Whitman on the 8th.
