Trinity Christian Academy is ranked highly in their home state and on Tuesday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Lowndes. The Conquerors walked away with a 7-4 victory over the Vikings. The win was familiar territory for the Conquerors, who have now won five games in a row.

Gage Petrutz was excellent, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Brady Harris #2 was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Trinity Christian Academy's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-3. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Lowndes, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-8 record this season.

Trinity Christian Academy will host Oakleaf at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lowndes, they are taking a road trip to take on Creekside at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Vikings 4, the Knights 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
