Softball Recap: London Takes a Loss

If London was feeling good fresh off their 12-2 takedown of Graham Local on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Red Raiders came up short against the Shawnee Braves on Saturday, falling 17-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Red Raiders have suffered against the Braves since April 5, 2021.

London's loss dropped their record down to 17-7. As for Shawnee, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 21-3.

London does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Shawnee, they will take on Graham Local at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. The Falcons have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.69 runs per game on average), something the Braves will no doubt try to take advantage of.
