Baseball Recap: Niwot Takes a Loss

Niwot was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Broomfield Eagles, falling 14-5.

Niwot saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Haden Shaw, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Niwot's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Broomfield, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Niwot will square off against Holy Family at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Broomfield, they will face off against Fairview at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
