Trinity Presbyterian came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 14-1 to the Saint James Trojans. The Wildcats' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Trinity Presbyterian's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 8-9. As for Saint James, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 34-6 record this season.

Trinity Presbyterian will take on LAMP at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats are facing the Golden Tigers at the right time seeing as the Golden Tigers are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Saint James, they are taking a road trip to square off against Elmore County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Trojans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 7.9 runs per game this season.
