Softball Recap: Crestwood Comes Up Short

Crestwood lost to Lamar back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Knights fell just short of the Silver Fox by a score of 8-7. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Crestwood got a massive performance out of Zaire Ransom, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, four RBI, and one triple. Another player making a difference was My'Aniah Robinson, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple.

Crestwood's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Lamar, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-3.

Coincidentally, Crestwood and Lamar will both be playing Lee Academy the next time they take the field. The Knights will head out to face the Cavaliers at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, while the Silver Fox will play them later in the day, at 4:00 p.m.
