Basketball Game Preview: DASH United vs. Pitt County P Pacers

The DASH United will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the Pitt County P Pacers at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

DASH is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Coastal Brigade. The United were the clear victors by an 84-60 margin over Coastal Brigade on Saturday. The victory continues a trend for the United in their matchups with Coastal Brigade: they've now won three in a row.

DASH's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Carter Adams led the charge by going 11-for-16 en route to 23 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Workman, who shot 88% from the field to rack up 18 points.

Meanwhile, Pitt County P was able to grind out a solid win over Mount Calvary Christian Academy on Friday, taking the game 54-44.

DASH better keep an eye on Eli Carter. He was instrumental in Pitt County P's win, going 9-for-17 on his way to 28 points. Trystian Garza was another key player, shooting 50% from the field en route to 10 points.

Everything came up roses for DASH against Pitt County P when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as the squad secured an 83-48 victory. Will the United repeat their success, or do the Pacers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
