Basketball Recap: St. Teresa's Catholic Triumphs

After losing to Spring Creek Charter Academy the last time they met, St. Teresa's Catholic decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The St. Teresa's Catholic Crusaders strolled past the Spring Creek Charter Academy Stallions with points to spare on Monday, taking the game 71-54.

St. Teresa's Catholic found their leader in freshman Dyland Rangel, who almost dropped a double-double on 39 points and nine assists. Michael Richard was another key player, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 13 boards.

St. Teresa's Catholic's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Spring Creek Charter Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

St. Teresa's Catholic will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Community Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Spring Creek Charter Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
