Softball Recap: Brewer Comes Up Short

Brewer fell victim to Hoover and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Buccaneers, falling 15-0. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brewer saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Makenzie Irmen, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Brewer's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11-1. As for Hoover, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-7.

Brewer didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 4-2 loss against Deshler on the 25th. As for Hoover, they have also already played their next contest, a 6-1 victory against McNairy Central on the 25th.
