Softball Recap: Paetow Gets the Win

Paetow never let their opponents score on Friday. They blew past the Fort Bend Austin Bulldogs 10-0.

ABIGAIL MARTINAK made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over four innings pitched. MARTINAK was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on MIA RUIZ, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was AMANDA VASQUEZ, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Paetow always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .615. The last time their OBP was this high was back in March of 2024.

Paetow's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Fort Bend Austin, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
