Softball Recap: Pomeroy Pirates vs. Yakama Nation Tribal Eagles

Pomeroy can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. Everything went their way against the Yakama Nation Tribal Eagles as the Pomeroy Pirates made off with a 24-5 win.

Pomeroy got a massive performance out of Kendyll Potoshnik, who scored four runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Isabella Field, who scored three runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-3.

Pomeroy's victory bumped their record up to 2-11.

Pomeroy will head out on the road to take on Dayton at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pomeroy will be hoping to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last. As for Yakama Nation Tribal, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Sunnyside Christian at 11:00 a.m.
