After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Valley Christian, Coolidge was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They blew past the Apache Junction Prospectors 47-14. The Bears haven't had any issues with the Prospectors recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.
Coolidge found their leader in sophomore Hariyah Maddox, who shot 55% from the field on her way to 15 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. Those 55% shooting accuracy set a new season-high mark for Maddox. Another player making a difference was Tatiana Pablo, who posted 17 points.
Coolidge's victory bumped their record up to 7-13. As for Apache Junction, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-16.
