Soccer Preview: Jordan vs. Kendrick
The Jordan Red Jackets will be playing at home against the Kendrick Cherokees at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
Jordan fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Academy for Classical Education on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gryphons. Having soared to a lofty ten goals in the game before, Jordan couldn't push the score so high this time.
Meanwhile, Kendrick kept a clean sheet against Rutland back in March. Everything went their way against the Hurricanes as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win was just what Kendrick needed coming off of a 10-0 loss in their prior matchup.
They hit Rutland with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Jareece Tutton,
D'shawn Jackson, and
Jeremiah Stroud.
Jordan's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Kendrick, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4-1.
