Basketball Recap: North Medford Takes a Loss

North Medford and Willamette squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but North Medford had to settle for second. They fell 59-46 to the Willamette Wolverines. The defeat continues a trend for the Black Tornado in their matchups with the Wolverines: they've now lost six in a row.

North Medford's loss dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Willamette, the victory was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-5.

Coming up, North Medford will take on Sheldon at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Willamette, they will challenge Grants Pass at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Willamette's favor as the squad sits on 13 straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Grants Pass has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
