Soccer Recap: Fremont Comes Up Short

Fremont's game on Friday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 3-1 to the Homestead Mustangs. The Firebirds just can't catch a break and have now endured 12 defeats in a row.

Fremont's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Homestead, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-5.

Coming up, Fremont will welcome Los Gatos at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Homestead, they will venture away from home to square off against Santa Clara at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Homestead is facing Santa Clara at the right time seeing as Santa Clara is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
