Saranac hadn't done well against Beekmantown recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Friday. The Saranac Spartans walked away with  a   48-41  win over the Beekmantown Eagles. Winning may never get old, but the Spartans sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Saranac to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Carson Duffield, who  almost  dropped  a double-double on 14 points and nine  rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of  Theran Ducatte, who  posted 11  points along with six  boards and three  steals.
 Saranac  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with ten  offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least ten  offensive boards in four consecutive  contests.
Saranac's victory bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Beekmantown, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Saranac will welcome Franklin Academy  at 7:00  p.m.  on Monday. Saranac is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.5  points per game  this season. As for Beekmantown, they will be playing at home against Ticonderoga  at 7:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
