Preview: Monte Vista vs. Dougherty Valley
The Monte Vista Mustangs will be playing at home against the Dougherty Valley Wildcats on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Monte Vista comes in on four and Dougherty Valley on five.
On Thursday, Monte Vista kept a clean sheet against San Ramon Valley. They beat Wolves by a goal, winning 1-0. Monte Vista's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last four matchups.

Meanwhile, Dougherty Valley extended their postseason success on Thursday against De La Salle. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Spartans. The result was nothing new for Dougherty Valley, who have now won seven matches by three goals or more so far this season.
Monte Vista has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-2-3 record this season. As for Dougherty Valley, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-3-4.
