Softball Recap: Oasis Comes Up Short

Oasis suffered their biggest defeat since February 24th on Thursday. They came up short against the North Fort Myers Red Knights, falling 19-4. The Sharks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meesha Neujahr made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one triple and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Nina Curasco, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run.

Oasis' loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for North Fort Myers, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-2.

Looking ahead, Oasis will look to defend their home field on Friday against Seacrest Country Day at 6:00 p.m. The Sharks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Stingrays have averaged an impressive 8.7 runs per game this season. As for North Fort Myers, they will venture away from home to face off against Naples at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
