Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hampton). They blew past the Armstrong River Hawks 9-1 on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for Hampton, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Hampton has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-1-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those four contests. As for Armstrong, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Hampton is set to take on their familiar foe Shaler Area at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Armstrong will square off against rival Mars at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
