Basketball Recap: Catskill Takes a Loss

Catskill was the 41-38 winner over Watervliet when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Cats fell 38-32 to the Cannoneers on Friday.

Catskill's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Watervliet, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Catskill will be home for the holidays to greet Hudson at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Watervliet, they will host Coxsackie-Athens at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cannoneers will be up against the Riverhawks' rather soft defense (which has allowed 52.75 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
