Basketball Recap: The Awty International Continues Home Dominance on Monday

The Awty International's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They walked away with a 55-43 win over the Salt and Light Homeschool Eagles. Given the Rams' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 608th, while the Eagles are ranked 1507th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The Awty International pushed their record up to 17-7 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.6 points over those games. As for Salt and Light Homeschool, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.
