Basketball Recap: Sartell-St. Stephen Takes a Loss

If Sartell-St. Stephen was feeling good fresh off their 67-46 takedown of Fergus Falls last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Sartell-St. Stephen Sabres fell 67-55 to the Buffalo Bison on Friday. The contest marked the Sabres' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Sartell-St. Stephen's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Buffalo, their victory ended an 11-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-3.

Sartell-St. Stephen will finish 2024 at home by hosting Osseo at 7:30 p.m. on December 27th. One thing working in Sartell-St. Stephen's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. Buffalo and Elk River will round out the year against one another at at 8:00 p.m. on December 27th. Buffalo is facing Elk River at the right time seeing as Elk River is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
