Volleyball Recap: Staunton River Takes a Loss

If Staunton River was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Fleming on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Golden Eagles lost 3-0 to the Bassett Bengals on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for the Golden Eagles in their meetings with the Bengals: they've now lost seven in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-14, 25-23.

Kaylyn Graham was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 14 digs and one assist. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 14 or more in each of the last five games she's played.
