Pretty Prairie snaps three-game streak of losses at home

Recap: Pretty Prairie Bulldogs vs. Fairfield Falcons

The Pretty Prairie Bulldogs won against the Fairfield Falcons last Tuesday with 42 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. Pretty Prairie came out on top in a nail-biter against Fairfield and snuck past 42-40. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Pretty Prairie.

Pretty Prairie found their leader in underclassman Ava White, who scored 12 points along with five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points White has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Kayleigh Vogl, who scored four points along with nine rebounds and two steals.

Despite the loss, Fairfield still got an impressive performance from Marissa Pugh, who scored 13 points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Erin Schwertfeger, who scored four points along with seven rebounds.

Fairfield struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Pretty Prairie posted ten assists.

Pretty Prairie's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-8. As for Fairfield, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pretty Prairie will take on Attica at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Attica will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Pretty Prairie surely won't give up without a fight. As for Fairfield, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against South Barber. Fairfield is coming into the game with six straight losses at home, meaning South Barber will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win.
