Jackpot posted their biggest victory since December 5, 2024 on Friday. They put the hurt on the Carlin Railroaders with a sharp 47-26 win. The Jaguars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Railroaders, too.

Jackpot's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Angel Martinez, who went 10 of 22 en route to 21 points in addition to six steals and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Jorge Avila, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 16 rebounds.

Jackpot smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in three consecutive matches.

When it comes to explaining why Carlin lost, don't look at Leonidas Krantz. Despite the final result, he posted 19 points. That was a full 73.1% of Carlin's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's scored more than a third of the team's points.

Jackpot's record now sits at 9-6. As for Carlin, their loss was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-15.

Jackpot didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 47-40 defeat against Owyhee on the 25th. As for Carlin, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 50-24 loss against Wells on the 25th.
