Basketball Recap: Lakewood Takes a Loss

Lakewood lost against Utica back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Lakewood Lancers fell to the Utica Redskins 52-48. The Lancers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lakewood's loss dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Utica, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lakewood will be taking part in a tournament against Liberty Union at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Utica, they will head out on the road to challenge East Knox at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
