Baseball Recap: Eisenhower Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Eisenhower fell victim to Olathe East and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Hawks, falling 7-0. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Tigers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Eisenhower's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-4. As for Olathe East, they pushed their record up to 12-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eisenhower will take on Andover at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Olathe East, they will square off against Lawrence Free State on Monday.
