Softball Recap: Linden-Kildare Takes a Loss

If Linden-Kildare was riding high fresh off their 13-2 takedown of Pewitt last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers fell 9-4 to the McLeod Longhorns on Tuesday. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Longhorns recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Ja'Maiya Mack made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-2. Lynlee Lejeune was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Linden-Kildare's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for McLeod, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-6.

While Linden-Kildare had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
