Basketball Recap: North Greene Extends Home Winning Streak to 15

North Greene won the last time they faced Midway and things went their way on Saturday too. The North Greene Huskies took down the Midway Green Wave 39-24. The win was familiar territory for the Huskies, who have now won four contests in a row.

Despite the loss, Midway still got an impressive performance from Kyleigh Cawood, who posted 14 points in addition to six boards and four steals.

North Greene pushed their record up to 31-4 with the victory, which was their 15th straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points over those games. As for Midway, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 20-12.

Coming up, North Greene will face off against Greenfield on Wednesday. Greenfield will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something North Greene surely won't give up without a fight. Midway does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
