Softball Recap: Peabody Veterans Memorial Find Success

While Peabody Veterans Memorial's victory against Greater Lawrence Tech wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Tanners won by a run and slipped past the Reggies 7-6. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 16-6 back in April.

Peabody Veterans Memorial's win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Greater Lawrence Tech, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Peabody Veterans Memorial will face off against Beverly at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Greater Lawrence Tech, they will venture away from home to square off against Northeast Metro RVT at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
